Hello, I am hoping someone can shed some light on a query. My mother lives alone and is receipt of a state pension. My father is in a nursing home and receives both state and private pension. Both his pensions are used to cover costs of the nursing home and about half of my mothers too. She is getting by, just. Would she qualify for a fuel allowance? As well as the funds this would allow her to gain from the Better Homes (cavity insulation specifically) to keep her house warm. In winter it can be very very cold indeed. Cheers
