I think only in recent weeks he or perhaps someone close to him was writing in the Sunday Independent to set the record straight against about the arms trial following another book \ documentary making false claims about the Arms Trial scandal.
I think one of the last sentences was something along the lines of, if I wasn't here as an eye witness to refute it... the next time false claims like this arise they may 'stick'.

They were way ahead of their time. I think their legacy is that FG and FF are now much more socially liberal and that they, in part, contributed to that.
I also think that the Labour Party, which always had a progressive liberal agenda, kind of lost it's relevance once other Parties adopted it's social agenda.
