EBS EBS update Dec 2017

Rang EBS too. Same letter I got. Only they said the Legal Fee is set at a minimum of €675 and is a % of the overpayment/compensation so could be higher. Could tell me nothing else.

Hi ... I was wondering if anyone that had signed one of these forms got redress. I was told about 4 years ago that because I had signed the form they would not reinstate my tracker. Just wondering if this is still the case for everyone?

So received the payment instruction form and when again I asked for the years impacted ( i was told in June 2010 to date) as it needs to be clear in order for ex husband to sign the forms they tell me to wait until next letter! I asked why can't I or he be told what I was told in June? Can I freely get the information from the branch manager what type of interested was charged in 2010 ... then the tune of the call changed and they can call me back tomorrow with the information. I am fuming at ebs as last week they told my ex husband I had the cheque which is totally untrue I from the first letter in June asked no cheque be sent due to the complications of my case. Sick of dealing with them at this stage and yet again being completed stressed put by them. I think the letter detailing the redress amount should have come first

Or at least with the cheque. They told me another part of the bank had to double check everything and that's why there's a delay. I said no bank ever handed out money without being sure what they were handing out and even if they weren't sure, what they had calculated could have gone with the cheque. Sounds like a lot of "consultants" are trying to keep in the game longer than they need to be.

Looking for some help please. My daughter has mortgage with EBS. Could someone advise me on the exact wording to get all her mortgage documents from the EBS. She was never on a tracker but was on a fixed rate and for some time is now on a variable rate. Would appreciate the help. She fought and worked so hard to pay her mortgage over the bad years to keep her home. If I could get the form of wording she can check into it if it's not too late. She did get a call from EBS out of the blue saying they could maybe offer her an 0.03 per cent reduction in her interest rate. Thank you.

Her original mortgage document says "variable base rate" - is this a tracker?
