Technical advisor for Electric Heat Pump SEAI

Hi,

Considering an air to water electric heat pump. First step is getting assessed for grant eligibility.
Has anyone engaged a technical advisor they'd recommend (Dublin)?
Does the advisor recommend / design the system or just assess eligibility for the grant?

No. The Technical Advisor will only assess eligibility. The design has to be carried out by the plumber in conjunction with the heat pump supplier.

Generally your plumber will be souring your heat pump off the likes of a heat merchants. They will have an in house designer who will use the xml file generated by the Technical Advisor as part of the design but he mainly rely on the site visit by the plumber.

I am based in Galway so no recommendations in Dublin, sorry.
