Ulster Ulster Bank redress in this quarter

That's interesting regarding receipt of first letter , that it was Feb also for 2004. Terrible the waiting game.

Has anyone got redressed in January from Ulster Bank?

Starting to loose it. It's now coming up on a year since got the letter confirming we were impacted.

The holding day letters say that they will "provide an update on progress" in 60 days. There
is never any "update".. They just write out again to indicate that "they will provide an update in 60 days"
Can they legally do this ??? We have SIX 60 day letters in our possesion!! They are completely taking the piss.

To be honest it does nt seem like many have. I phoned the helpless line again and they will not provide a number now of how many have been redressed. Up until that they were giving an idea of numbers. Which makes me think the number has not changed since December. So frustrating they just told me to wait until june and everyone will be redressed by then! I lodged another complaint and they were able to send me a letter about that!

was told by the Mgr of the TME team that 1500 will be identified by end of march and rest(2000...i think)by end of june but god knows what cohorts they are

Rang them yesterday too...dont know why I bothered....I was just so fustrated afterwards....its certainly a drag our heels performance from UB....its just shocking!

I wonder how many they have actually told are impacted v's those who are still waiting to hear if they are impacted...anyone any ideas?

Hi all, after receiving our notification from Ulster Bank that we were part of the tracker scandal in the first couple of days of January 2017, not hearing anything bar the March 2017 holding letter, and getting a 60 day wait letter 1 week ago, our mortgage account was adjusted last night with a credit and debit figure helping reduce it a bit. We haven't got anything in the post yet, so hopefully that will come soon.

We were a former First Active customer and fixed our mortgage for 5 years in 2006.

I hope this is the start of the next redress for a lot more folk in Ulster Bank.

Congrats Julianato, some hope for more of us former FA customers.

However, my mortgage is still not confirmed as impacted, never mind redress. My mortgage payment came out of my current account yesterday unchanged.

There do not seem to be any clear criteria or timelines as to the identification of who is impacted &/or redress.

Hi ,
For sanity sake does anybody know if any redress / comp has been made in Q1 2018 ? I am current customer and mortgage holder since 2002 and as such was hoping to be dealt with in the first 2500. To date , not a dicky bird from the bank other than being put back on my tracker rate in February 2017.

HI Sparky2104 am I the only person who has never received a letter from ulster bank since I complained last year ! I am worried that I complained too late ?

I drew down mortgage with fa in 02, got letter from ub in June 17 mortgage payments decreased by 100 euro since last Julys payment. Heard nothing since!
Never lodged complaint ... should I??

I just went onto ulsterbank.ie and looked for mortgage section and complaints form. Can't find an email address

Rang helpless line this evening and so far 1550 approx have been paid to date with another 1000 to be paid by end of March so heres hoping folks !

Thanks joanne. That means only approx 500 were redressed in january and february. But yet they can do 1000 in march. As time goes on the more frustrated with UB I become. Heres hoping some of us are included in the next 1000.

Hi All, received my redress yesterday from Ulster Bank noticed a change last week in my mortgage account large debit and credit, took out a Mortgage with Ulster Bank in 2006, impacted from 2011, initial mortgage of 140K, mortgage reduced by 7k redress and compensation cheque for 17k , was notified January 2017 that I was impacted, received no correspondence since then until yesterday apart from the odd phone call every other week to the tracker helpline. Hope this offers people some hope, I intend to appeal though I will be ringing today for my appeals form.
