Recommendation for painter to paint kitchen presses.

would it be cheaper to buy new doors?

we had a few rooms painted recently - took the guy 2 days, cost €350 including the paint.

thats altogether different to what a kitchen painter does but i would question if the kitchen would endure even less wear post painting than the inside walls and thus you would need to repaint kitchen units again in four or five years , this would render it too expensive IMO

maybe it is different but is it over twice as expensive per day in terms of skill or effort? is this guy a specialist who only does kitchen cupboards?

One painter has recommended 3 coats of an oil based paint and another 4 coats of a non oil based paint for our kitchen presses. Any thoughts?
