Minimum mortgage term before switching

Does anyone know the minimum time you must have a mortgage with one bank before another bank will take you as a switcher?

I asked Ulster Bank about this and was told 1 year. I've not seen any other banks state anything on this.
 
I don't think that it is written down anywhere.

But if you jump from BoI to EBS immediately after getting the cash back, they would probably expect you to jump again and would be reluctant to take you.

I've been with BOI for a year now, so while it's not straight away BOI wouldn't have made a whole lot on me in that period of time.

And that is what I am worried about, EBS could look at me as too much of a flight risk. I could still always go to UB though and just get the better rates. It's worth trying I suppose anyway.
