Which estate is best

I recently bought a new VW pasat salbbn but also looked at the estate - lovely car and the boot is hugh.

Fabia Estate is very good value for money VW build quality at Skoda prices 1.4L TDI a good deal for somebody on a budget that also needs excellent fuel economy without having a huge engine to tax and insure ;)

Ron,
Sounds like you want a very long estate considering that you want the back seats up, that’s got street cred, but also cheap, that’s a very hard combination! A few questions:
How much money are you willing to spend?
How big an engine will you consider?
How big is your DJ. Gear?

Your choices:
Merc C220 Diesel

another one I would consider (engine size is a problem) is the 530d estate, or
you might get a 525d estate in the UK.

Regarding UK, you would get all these cars cheaper, higher spec, in the UK
And more of them to choose from. Would you consider going to the UK or N.I.?
Its were the deals are.
try:

www.ebay.co.uk
www.cargiant.co.uk

oh i am buying in the UK and looks like i'll be going with car giant, i can send my fiancee's brother to look at a car for me and pay a deposit i'll fly over, collect and get the ferry back.

i'll spend about 12k sterling and the dj gear is small these datys but its a full rig out.

i wouldn't use the word street cred, but i don#t want to drive a volvo, prestige is be a word i'd use, merc, audi, that level of car.

the A6 seems to tick all the boxes, good size, name, great engine and comfortable as well. i think the A6 has the lot, i'm going for the 130 bhp version ( 6 speed ) i have that in the golf and it was amazing, i'll get it chipped and bring the power level up even more.

Saab 95 Estate Defo, if its a 01 or 02. A lot of car for not a lot of money.
