what to do when recession hits

Cant you rent it out on the sly, does the council have moles watching who enters and leaves the house? I think not, just put adverts in the supermarket, you never know if they have Daft open checking if theyre properties are being rented out.

well to be homest Id be afraid to do that because often neighbours report apparently. I actually kept my hours this year but they've been cut and money is really really tight. Still considering the idea of renting it out

I've been told by my council that if I do rent it out and they find out the only thing that will happen is that the years will be stuck on at the end in relation to clawback. So say you haven't lived there for 2 years the clawback only becomes nil after 22 years.

It's tough if you bought the affordable home when you were single (majority of us are coz we would havebeen able to get aproperty with 2 salary's)

you are lucky we did have two salaries to afford the affordable house we bought
