Want to take state exams-Junior cert and Leaving Cert in german.

Hello,
I already have my leaving cert (1994) but i have been learning german for the last 6 months and I would like to continue when i return home.
If i want to take it as a leaving cert exam do i need to the junior cert in German first?
Has anyone else done this before?

I might go to nightschool and just arrange to take the state exam at a local school.

I don't think that you need to have taken the Junior Cert exam in any subject in order to do the Leaving Cert. The or your local secondary school should be able to help with any queries about requirements for taking these exams.

Only one exam so!!
Just decided on this course of action this evening! Sorry should have googled for info.
Decided here was better though!!
