I am just wondering where an agent manages a rental property is it correct that he apply VAT on the PRTB fee that he has paid for new tenants when invoicing the landlord?
I'm not an accountant but I would think that VAT should not be added to the PRTB fees, in the same way that when buying a property VAT is not added to stamp duty when invoiced by the solicitor.
