Using the ECJ and Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts in formulating complaints

the Unfair Contract Terms Directive which has extensive ECJ case law is supposed to feature in each EU MS with some 'body' other than the Courts.

As you have often referred to this, could you maybe explain how it works and link to case law where people with complaints against financial institutions could quote it to their provider or to the Ombudsman.
