UK VAT on course

First post, Hi everyone
I'll be doing a course in the UK its costing me 1500 sterling ex VAT, now my question is they have added VAT on the invoice do I have to pay it cause I'm leaving in Ireland ?

Unless you are VAT registered in Ireland, you have to pay it.
