Turf/Timber

Hi,

just wondering does anyone know where to buy turf within a reasonable drive of Dublin??? nothing beats an open turf fire. I'm just looking to buy a few bags to fit into the boot of the car.
Also anywhere in Dublin you can buy timber in decent quantities, or maybe pick up timber from scrapyards etc.....

The building company I work for has (legally) dumped tonnes of sound timber, offcuts and pallets which I think is a crying shame but we're not in Dublin I'm afraid.

Go down to the Fruit and Veg Markets around lunchtime before the Corpo cleaners get there and you will find loads of oul pallets lying around.
