I hope to move into my parents house for 3 years and they will then sign it over to me. They have been informed by their solicitor that we will all need to live together to fulfil the revenue requirements under this legislation.

Is is this correct as they had planned to move into another property they own and downsize?

Appreciate any clarifications please

The CAT 10 sets out the requirements of the legislation, which is section 86 CATCA 2003. Sack your solicitor, if they can't get the basics right imagine how bad they could be at more complicated stuff...

Thanks Jon Snow, I agree I cannot see reference anywhere in that document that I would have to live with parents in those 3 years
