Stove Installer and Redbrick Chimney Restoration.

Hey all,

Am doing a bit of a renovation at the moment and have removed an old fireplace, gonna use the brick for garden beds. Its a redbrick 1920s one.

I was looking to get a stove installed in the other fireplace and the boxing off plasterboard removed thats around it to expose the actual redbrick rather than leave the plasterboard covering it.

Oddly, the plasterboard and fireplace thats there now makes it harder to put in a stove so there might be savings if I went down that route.

Any one got any recommendations? Have a builder in at the moment and he's being doing an upward push on a few other items so the trust is low so would rather give the work to someone else.
