I’m in a bit of a quandary understanding Affordable housing application.
I will be selling my present home with my ex partner and hope to realize approx €180000 my share
In filling in the application form as I am unemployed not working on disability and disabled I am unsure about how to go about filling in the form.

Also as I am now not working any more getting a loan from any bank.

Hi Sean,

If this is an ex partner as oppose to an ex husband or wife you will not be eligible for AH. AH is for first time buyers or in some circumstances people who are divorced.

You need to be working for a minimum of six months in permanent employment to apply for an AH.

I'm not sure if a bank will give you a mortgage without permanent employment.
