State pension in same time invalidity pension

Hi every body .

I just got the invalidity pension few days ago but i'll be 66 in May , i apply for state pension in the same time i apply for invalidity

My application for state pension contributory appear like that in mygovid : " is now being under reviewed by an officier " since January.

Do I need to do anything ?

As I was reading that the invality pension automatically becomes a State Pension as soon as i turn 66 .

As you got your Invalidity pension recently you are possibly better off to stick with it as you may not have enough PRSI contributions to give you a similar rate of pension. However the dept will usually give the higher rate that you are entitled to.
