Greenstar may enter the Irish residential electricity market and offer "unlimited" packages.

Money Saving Expert assessment on a similar UK tariff is .

Details of the similar UK tariff are here.

Just Energy, a Canadian-listed energy company, is preparing to enter the Irish retail gas and electricity markets in the second half of this year, targeting residential and SME customers.

The company competes in the UK as Green Star Energy, where it offers unlimited, “all you can use” tariffs. It recently purchased a company in Germany where it also plans to launch this year. It plans to compete here as Just Energy

Cody, who also spent a brief period as customer services manager at Irish Water, said that the company will introduce “innovative pricing” to the market, and was targeting the more than 40% of electricity and gas customers who have never switched supplier.

From reading the Money saving expert article this sounds like it's only a publicity stunt. The energy is only 'unlimited' if you use what you tell them you're going to use. You'll also pay more on this tariff for what you do use.
