Solicitors Fees

Hi If agreed between the parties can you pay the other sides solicitors fees (or give €x amount) towards them?

eg could the buyer pay €2k towards the legal fees of the seller?

You could. But why?

Maybe person selling is in severe negative equity or for some other reason is unable to pay the legal fees. Buyer is being very generous to do so.

Then the fees would come out of the sale proceeds.
