Solicitors fees for self build

My Bank told me that I would need a solicitor to handle the stage payments through the progression of my self build.
I also need to get the land transferred from my Parents to my name.
There will be 4-5 stage payments.
Any idea how much this should cost? I am located in south Kilkenny - anyone know a good solicitor here? thanks
 
If it's your self build, why is the land being transferred into your parents name?
 
Two processes - land transfer from parents to OP and then mortgage of said lands to OP with a number of stage payments.

I'm out of touch with self build situations but I remember hating them and charging accordingly because there was so much messing.

Call around or get a recommendation from someone who has recently used a good solicitor.

Hi There,
We're doing this: total fees were 2,250.
Can't remember the breakdown for transfer and the mortgage but they were two separate fees....
