just looking for peoples opinions views or experiences on "property swaps". There is a lovely house that we have seen, it has been on the market for quite some time and has had one price drop recently, they are now advertising the property that would consider a property swap for another type of similar property in xxx town.
It is still well outside our budget however we have two properties that we would consider swapping, their values would equate to the selling price being sought.
Does anyone have any experience in this area? The agent selling doesnt appear to be too "au fait" with the in's and outs of the process and our solicitor is away.
Any advice etc greatly accepted.
