I think people may take issue with any bank being called generous!Let's face it, they only have a couple of things on their mind; profit and avoiding bad press!
If profit was the only thing, they would just repossess as you have plenty of equity and they would be getting rid of a tracker.
Danske don't care about bad press as they are no longer trading in Ireland.
If it were AIB or Ulster, I would find it a bit easier to understand.
