sales reps

Hi,
I have a science background and have been in IT since college. I am interested in wondering would it be possible to change careers a bit now and was thinking about sales. I think I would enjoy something like medical sales rep but dont know where to start. Any courses out there to help get your foot in the door?

If I were you I would look for a job with a company using your current skills that would expose you to loads of companies in whatever medical sector you are interested in.
The best sales people have a good technical knowledge of the products that they sell and contacts are the most valuable thing you can bring to the table when you are looking for a sales job.

Thanks for that Purple. I'd have contacts at chemical plants actually so pharma might suit me better. (If I can get a job that is!)
