There is a small store near the top of Dawson Street, Dublin 2 (within 50 meters of Elverys Sports on the corner) who buy precious stones and metals.
You might also have a word with a couple of the independent jewellers (such as Weirs, Rocks etc) I've heard some will buy high quality items.
