renting holiday homes in spain/portugal etc

I hear about loads of people who have apartments/villas who want to rent them out to help with the costs. I know that people advertise in the small ads, but is there any websites that offer this facility.

I found some UK ones which were great as the owner rents direct to the public, therfore cutting out agents fees etc, however they are in sterling.

Anyone know of an Irish version.

I don't know of a specific Irish site but there are Irish owned apartments advertised on this site where you deal directly with the owner ( you can tell from the phone numbers )
