Can someone please clarify the following excerpt from a mortgage contract?
" ... the statutory powers of leading or of accepting surrenders of leases conferred on mortgages shall not be exercised by the Mortgagor nor shall the Mortgagor part with possession of the Mortgaged property or any par thereof nor confer upon any person ... any licence right or interest to occupy the property or any part thereof without the consent in writing of the Bank but the Bank may accept surrenders of leases without restriction."
Does this mean that in order to rent out a room that in reality consent must be obtained. Also can that consent be granted without the other owners consent?
