Renewal Net More 100 with Daily Care Most

Hi all
We have recieved the renewal for the above policy for my wife at €1,314 for one adult.Tried to compare it with a cheaper plan on the HIA comparator but got bogged down in the jargon.Does any one know of a similar plan with semi-private room in a private hospital.Renewal seems very expensive we don't mind increasing the excess to reduce the cost.Had a look on previous posts but no joy.

The following plan with Glohealth has much better hospital cover, including hi-tech cover, plus similar day to day cover compared to 'Daily Care Most'

'Best Smart Plan; price 1162pa; public, private and hi-tech hospital cover( no restricted hospital list), 100 excess per private/hi-tech admission,
50 excess per day case. Good day to day cover included, so no need for Daily Care Most with this plan.

Alternative options with Laya as follows;
1. Simply Connect; price 1063pa; public,private and hi-tech hospital cover, max excess 150 x 2 per year, day case excess 50 per visit, day to day
cover included - max refund 300 per year.
2. Simply Connect Plus; price 1169pa; public, private and hi-tech hospital cover, max excess 150 x 1 per year, day case 50 per visit, day to day
cover included - max refund 500 per year.
3. Simplicity; price 1087pa; public, private and hi-tech hospital cover, max excess 100 x 2 per year, day case 50 per visit, day to day cover
included - note first 100 not allowed for day to day cover. Extra hospital cover, private room in a private hospital included on this plan.
