We have just received our renewal quote on the Net More 100 plan.
2 adults (50+) plus a 20 and 21 year old.
Any suggestions for a similar alternative appreciated.

Alternative option for 2 adults with VHI as follows;
1. PMI 40 15; price 1009pa; all public,private and Beacon hospital covered, private excess 75.

Alternative options for 2 young adults, 20 and 21 yr old with VHI as follows;

1. Start Plan 250; price 182(20 yr old); 371(21 yr old); selected public and private hospital cover, private excess 250. Check the lists of hospitals
covered to make sure they suit your location.
2. PMI 12 11; price 349(20 yr) 567(21 yr); all public, private and hi-tech hospitals covered, private excess 125.
3. Company Plan; price 368(20 yr) 513(21 yr); all public and private hospitals covered, private excess 75.
4. One Plan; price 388(20 yr) 528(21 yr); all public,private and hi-tech hospitals covered, private excess 125.

Great information, much appreciated.

Somebody else mentioned the GloHealth Kick Off Plus as a possible alternative.

Would appreciate your thoughts on that?

Kick Off Plus plan is an ideal plan at an ideal price, the only thing is the 300 private excess per admission to a private hospital.
Once you're ok with that, its recommended. There's a very good selection of private hospitals included.

For the 20 year old, VHI would work out cheaper but Kick Off Plus would be cheaper for the 21 year old, overall.


Another Glohealth plan worth looking at, is Nurture plan, price 890pa. The only difference with Kick Off Plus, there is a cap of 300 x 2 admissions
per year excess. If the excess of 300 per admission is not an issue, then Kick Off Plus is the plan to choose.
