Radiators on

Is it more cost effective to turn off rads upstairs in house if rooms are not being used (gas central heating)???????

Thanks. I'm having problems with my rads. If I turn ON or turn OFF some rads upstairs then only 1 in 5 work downstairs. But if every rad in the house is on I don't have any problems! Very odd indeed. I need a plumber!!

I'm not a plumber but I was told once that turning off individual radiators can unbalance the system. So maybe a plumber in to balance your system might solve your problem.
