Hi, we have a site on family land and we are hoping to start the planning application process soon. We're still looking at plans at the moment, basically looking at different websites and getting ideas from that and from driving around.
Does anyone have an idea of roughly how long it would usually take to do plan up from start to finish, assuming we have a pretty good idea of what we want when we go to get them done? Also, we're not sure at the moment whether we will go to an architect or get a family member to do them (not an architect but in the business), if we were to go to an architect then presumably we might have to wait a while before they could even get around to starting them? And how much would architect's fees typically be? We are in Sligo if that makes a difference to charges etc.
