A friend is in arrears with Vodafone which they are paying off, however the period they originally entered into the contract for is now coming to an end, he informed VF not to review the contract to limit the amount of arrears building up.

VF refuse to do this. I have read the contact and it doesn't seem to mention anything like this.

Anyone have any experiences.

Write to Vodaphone and ask to cancel the existing contract.
Make sure to keep a copy of cancellation.
I understand Vodaphone may try to keep the original contract running unless he cancels it .
Then if Vodaphone add on extra months it is Vodaphones issue.
