Its been a while so I have decided to go & get my eyes checked. Already wear glasses & contacts so know the proceedure.
Any ideas on the usual costs for an eye check up for both glasses & contacts.
Once I get my perscription I'll do the usual & shop around for glasses/frames & grab my lenses online.

Not quite sure of the costs, but remember that if it's a full checkup (as required every 2 years I think) you can reclaim some of the cost from your PRSI contributions.
 
You can get an eyetest in Specsavers for €25, which includes an eye health check. You can either retrospectively claim the treatment benefit or in advance and get it for free.
