Thinking of purchasing an Opel Vectra 1.6 1999. The previous owner put a new engine into it last year. From what I heard he likes to tinker around and had a few extra bob last year so decided to 'upgrade' the car. He recently bought a new car and wants to sell the old one.
Someone told me that they would be 'suss' if someone put a new engine into an older car but I cant think why? Any ideas on whether it would be a good buy? Price is €3000 and it looks very clean
