I paid in full for Membership of the NAC last July. They have now, as some are probably aware, been closed since the start of January. Therefore for almost half of my membership period they have been closed. In this time I joined another Gym because I was sick of waiting for it to re-open. Am I entitled to request a full refund ??

I welcome any opinions on the matter.
 
I don't know what the story is on the refund side, but I think it is an absolutely crazy situation where a so-called national facility built at presumably significant cost to the tax-payer can remain closed for so long.

I understand that the various parties involved are disputing who is responsible for the cost of the repairs, and there is a certain case to be made there, but from Joe Punters point of view all we are interested in is when will the place be open again ? Over 4 months since the damage was done and the place is still closed. It's crazy.
