I'm currently going through the process of the mortgage to rent scheme. We have transferred deeds on our property to local co council. We are not allowed to stay in our property due to overcrowding so we are being transferred to another property,even though that is not part of the scheme.
I'm looking for specifics about what the council can and cannot do. They are informing me I need to make repairs on my house,need to pay a months rent upfront,even though this is not in any of the agreements of the mortgage to rent scheme.
I'm also looking for a timeframe of completion as this has all being going on since November 2013,at this stage I am completely fed up. The council will not give us any information,will not phone us or answer our questions,if anyone has been through this scheme that can give me advice it would be appreciated, I've phoned mabs ect bit they just give me info from the general handbook which I already have
