Management Company Association

Is there any association that management companies or their directors can join. One that would provide opportunities for networking, sharing experiences, offering support and guidance etc. Basically something that would give us a voice to shout at the government. If there's none, is it time to set up one?

There's a group called the Apartment Owners Network (www.apartmentowners.ie) which is still in it's infancy. We meet at 7pm on the second Thursday of each month in DCC HQ on Wood Quay, Dublin. It's made up entirely of people who own apartments or are directors of their management company and it's a great way to exchange ideas, find solutions for problems and lobby for better legislation for apartment owners. We've already had some success with the Law Reform Commission draft legislation for new apartment blocks. Have a look at the website and drop us an email at info at apartmentowners dot ie.
