Lump Sum Paid on house before Marriage

In relation to a divorce settlement if one person bought the family home as a single person 3 years before marriage and paid 40% /55K conversion from Punt of the house up front in 1997.
Is there a valid case to look for that initial 55K back as part of the settlement? Not looking for 40% of the price today in 2022 but just the original 55K.

In my experience the answer is a resounding "No".
