Hi
Just wondering how does the aib 5o% or 60% ltv mortages compare to other banks offers at the moment.

Better than all in the long term save NIB. No free switcher though but no need to open a current account with AIB.

I was wondering this too. My ltv is less than 50% so I'm eligible with my current provider, aib: apr over 20 years of 4.17 and with NIB I would be eligible for the lowest rate although I'm not sure what it is. I currently have about 20 years left of a 25 year mortgage. Any advice please?

Their lowest rate is 4.08%...I know because I've just switched to it.
This is the best offer around.

Having read a bit about it since my last post I see that the lowest ltv interest rate is 4.1 whereas NIB is 4. What criteria did you use to get 4.08?

The APR is 4.08%. Try the LTV calculator on NIB's website.
Generally APR is the best way to compare rates as it's uniform.

What's the difference between apr and interest rates? Did you have to change your current accoun to NIB too and how much do they charge for fees?
