Life insurance and switching mortgage

Hi if switching mortgage and you've life insurance already. Can you just transfer it to the new mortgage provider. Or do u have to take out a new one

All depends, there is a longish post here somewhere on that already if you have a look through the insurance section.

If the policy is not a block policy, is for the amount and term of the new loan then it should be alright to use it again for the new mortgage.
