Health Insurance Laya Signify policy premium increased 17% - any alternatives in Laya?

Two adults, two children. Laya Signify jumped 17% from last year.

I see that Laya have had three price increases.

Laya hits 700,000 customers with third price rise in a year

Health insurer Laya is pushing up prices for the third time in a year.

Want to stick with Laya as they have a clinic nearby.

Can anybody suggest any alternative?

I used Dermot Goode's tool to compare, and he suggests Laya Signify, so maybe we should just stay with them..........

The HIA website doesn't make it obvious how to compare cover for a family..............

Hi Protocol,

Not familiar with Laya policies as I've always been with VHI.

Dermot Goode said recently that one would need to spend approx €1,400 to get good cover for an adult and would definitely agree with him there. The two policies that you mention are not great and even with the more expensive policy with VHI the 60% cover for certain orthopaedic and ophthalmic procedures leaves a lot to be desired.

Sorry I haven't been much use for a recommendation but just calling a spade a spade

These are are very good laya corporate plans simply connect or simply connect plus ( different is in day to day total limit) for older customers. For younger customers the inspire and inspire plus same as above with different is in day to day total limit and inspire plans need 20% co payment of optical and hip/knee operations
