Hi all. I can't find a straight answer to the query I'm about to post. I have a joint tracker mortgage/joint ownership with another individual through PTSB.
There are no issues with this, I maintain the mortgage and the other person has moved out and become civil partners with another. This is all ok, the intention is to sell / transfer once the negative equity is a little more reasonable. My question in the interim is..... does this other joint owners civil partner have any legal interest in this house, or could they have any rights? (they have never lived at the home etc).
Are there any other considerations I should be cautious about due to this scenario?
