Has anybody done the JEB course (IT teacher training)? Hubby is thinking of teaching IT (already has a lot of the skills) but I'm told that JEB is a prerequisite in order to teach. I'm also told that there are "plenty of jobs" out there! Is that right? He's hoping to be a contractor via an Agency. Anybody got any advice/suggestions? Much appreciated.

The missus did it a few years back and found it tough going. Assignments were marked very difficult, pedantically. There was a high failure rate on the course, but she got htrough with plenty of hard work.
I am not sure about the "plenty of jobs" being out there, in the school system there are jobs due to a shortage of it trainers appearently, but tha tis not your H's area.
Best thing I suppose is to contact the agenceys and see what the story is, get a listing of jobs etc.
There is no shortage of places offering the course in Dub esp, so it is hard to imagine a lack of supply.
