Health Insurance Insurance abroad

I wil be traveling in South America and Australia for the next year .I am insured on Laya simply connect which is now due for renewal I am aged 26 and would appreciate advice on best insurance for my travels and is there any benefit in keeping on my Laya policy . I will be returning to Ireland after the year

You just keep your Laya policy upto your travelling date. VHI International is a health insurance policy which covers hospital treatment and medical expenses when working or travelling abroad. You avoid serving waiting times for health insurance on your return.
