Increase tax free exemption redundancy

Hi, long time lurker, I'm in a position where I will be receiving an ex-gratia payment from my employer. My employer does not have an occupational pension scheme but does contribute to a PRSA. Is the PRSA exempt from the category of "occupational pension scheme" for the purposes of allowing me to have the increased tax free exemption of €10k without needing to sign a waiver to future tax free pension benefits under this PRSA?

There isn't any Revenue guidance on the topic so probably not a straightforward or simple answer.
