Hi Merid, do you mean if we die, the kids inheritance will be well over the threshold? We are aware of that. It really is one of those situations where when you save you have a problem and when you don't you have a problem. We may downsize our house. We may give them some money before we die for eg, if they are trying to get on the property ladder.

We would like to travel but I am reluctant to spend too much until we see how things work out when we are no longer earning. I may give up my part time job earlier.

We might need nursing homes.

Part of me also feels, I'll be dead, it won't be my problem and it also won't be a bad problem for them to have. I know, not a very savvy way to think but one gets tired trying to cover all avenues .
