Hi All,
I originally posted this before but unfortunately without much luck..
I'm hoping for some advice on the following (if anyone has had a similar experience).
My family have been in posession of a small house for over 50 years.
When i say in posession , initially there was a regular private rent collected (1960s /1970s) , then this ceased and ownership of the property was transferred to a company(now wound up) sometime in the early 80s.
No further rent was sought , but considerable investment has taken place in the property both by Grandparents and Myself , to keep it in good state.
It is unregistered...no folio number.
I have maintained the property for over 20 years...paying all bills ,expenses due.
My question is:
1. Is it possible to legitimise ownership (title deeds have never existed) ,and if so
2. How ?
