Hotel on-route from Barcelona to Cartagena

I am travelling from Barcelona to Cartagena in late February. Could anyone suggest a good hotel about halfway for one night stop.
 
I cannot answer OP's question but from recollection there is a large town in Spain called Cartagena . It is in Murcia which is further south of Barcelona.
