Health Insurance Good Children's plan

Hi,

The whole family (2A, 3C) are currently on VHI PM 36 13. We got the kids half price last year so that's the only reason they're on it. But no such deal this year so I'm looking for an alternative for them. Rang VHI and they suggested One Plan Family - half price at €134. This looks like it has good hospital cover, excess of €125 but no day to day cover.

I'm happy enough to go with this I think, but just wondering if there are any better deals, possibly with better day to day benefits out there?

Renewal is 1st August.

Hi Janet1,

The best 2 children's half price plans with VHI from 1 August 2015, are One Plan Choice or One Plan Complete.

One Plan Choice is the same as One Plan Family but 10 euro cheaper per child.
One Plan Complete has similar cover, the only difference is this plan has no inpatient excess. Price 147 per child.
Neither of these plans have day to day benefits, there are no offers like that at the moment for children.
