Fuel Cards - Cutting down my petrol costs

I've been thinking of ways to try and cut down on my increasing high fuel bill.

Many of the fuel companies offer fuel cards, some of these are restricted to commercial vehicles only. However, with regard to the personal ones... Does anyone use them? Topaz offer cheaper rates based upon the amount of petrol you purchase with them on a yearly basis. Is there much of a saving involved if someone is spending between €4000-5000 yearly?

I'd appreciate any info anyone has on this matter.

Why not get a Tesco credit card, make sure you pay it off every month and get the clubcard points?
